From creative networks and organisations to individuals and communities, Creative Renfrewshire strives to connect, inspire, and inform, shining a light on the wealth of diverse creative and cultural activities across the region.
Creative Renfrewshire is a volunteer managed network which links a diverse group of creative and cultural practitioners from across Renfrewshire. The network offers events, opportunities and activities aimed at linking up, supporting and inspiring a broad spectrum of creative and cultural industry practitioners (at various stages in their career), networks and organisations. By creating event spaces (such as networking events, inspirational talks, meet-ups and professional development opportunities) we will connect, amplify and celebrate what is happening in the region – sparking new, innovative opportunities which will both benefit creative practitioners and the local area.
Uniting and strengthening the creative communities already in place and facilitating spaces in which work in the sector can be seen and celebrated is pivotal to shaping the areas future.
There is an emphasis on encouraging young and emerging practitioners to develop their careers and to open up understanding of the creative sector to the wider public through accessible events.

Our Purpose
- Shine a spotlight on networks, events, projects, people and organisations who are already providing great cultural programming locally and further afield, through events and online coverage.
- Curate a programme of events, digital content to promote, advocate for and network within the creative, cultural and heritage sectors.
- Work strategically with partners to pool and open up resources, spaces and equipment.
