The first step to joining our vibrant, creative community is to tell us about yourself and add yourself to the directory. Our social media channels keep you connected, so you can stay up-to-date with information about cultural activities, artist’s news, opportunities, events, and more.
Follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and take a look around the website for even more content.
Subscribe to our mailing list.
Occasionally we send out emails about events, bits of important news, jobs and stuff like that. One day we might even have a newsletter and if we have your email – we can send it to you along with other useful information.
Come to Events
Creative Renfrewshire’s events and activities are fun and inspiring and provide opportunities for those from a broad range of creative and cultural industries to network with other like-minded people and form new collaborations. Whether you’re a long-time professional, emerging creative practitioner, or just feeling curious, you don’t want to miss our events.
Currently, we are running Creative Social Meet-Ups at various Renfrewshire arts organisations. The meet-ups are an informal way to meet other creatives and creative organisations in Renfrewshire, have a chat (and tell us what you’re working on!) and discuss future network plans. Stay tuned for our next event.
Do you have an event you’d like to see Creative Renfrewshire organise for the network? In the months ahead we want to expand, running speed networking events, featured talks and more! Please do send us any other ideas you have in mind through email or our social media pages!
Share Your Events
We recognise there are many thriving creative and cultural groups in Renfrewshire running events and activities, and we can help you get the word out. Send us your event details and we can add it to our Community events page and share through our social channels. Contact us here, on email (info@creativerenfrewshire.com) or through our social media pages.
Get the Word Out
There’s no greater way to help us grow than telling your friends about us. Join our social media pages, share our content, bring along friends to events, and invite others in your creative and cultural context to be a part. The wider the network the more rich and resourceful our community will be.
Programming Group
We are currently looking to establish a programming group made up of representatives of the creative, cultural and heritage sectors. The role of the programming group will be to help curate and plan events and activities for the network. One representative from this group will sit on the voluntary board to ensure good communication within the network’s creative and administrative bodies. Please contact us to express your interest in being a part of this group.
Voluntary Board
We are also excited to be recruiting Independent Directors/Trustees to join the Board of Creative Renfrewshire. We are hoping to find individuals who have an interest in enriching the lives of people who live, work and visit Renfrewshire and can bring with them skills and experience that would help the organisation grow and develop in the future. An interest in the creative sector, culture or heritage would be advantageous, but is not essential.
