SPRINGBOARD local assemblies bring together artists, cultural and sustainability organisations, climate workers, activists, local businesses, third-sector organisations and anyone interested in collaborating to form powerful local networks for creative climate action. Local assemblies are an opportunity to connect with other practitioners in your region to address climate change collectively. The events are for anyone working or volunteering in the climate or environmental sector, the arts, screen, creative industries, museums, heritage and libraries.

On the agenda:

• Examples of good practice in collaborative planning and sustainable place making with The Stove Network, Paisley Museum.
• Examples of good practice in health and wellbeing with Sculpture House, the Arts and Social Care Partnership and Marlene Zylstra (UWS), who leads on activating Paisley’s stalled spaces as creative spaces.
• Upcoming opportunities and funding information from Culture for Climate Scotland, Renfrewshire Climate Action Network, OneRen and the Turning the Tide project.
• Mapping of Renfrewshire’s cultural and climate assets and finding opportunities to collaborate.
• Collective visioning for 2050 Renfrewshire
