Get Involved

I am a Contemporary and Multi-disciplinary artist, Born and based in Paisley Scotland.

Education and Training

I have pursued a comprehensive education in the arts, beginning with NC Graphic Design and NC Fine Art, followed by HNC Fine Art. Currently, I am in the first year of my degree in HND Contemporary Art Practice. Additionally, I completed Intermediate Social Care, a useful qualification, although I have not fully pursued a career in that field.

Work and Volunteering

My work and volunteering experience is extensive and varied. Notably, my involvement with the Star Project has provided me with a wealth of opportunities to engage with the local creative community. Through this initiative, I have participated in a range of workshops and led an art class, where I produced a final piece that is now permanently displayed in Glenburn Community Centre.

I have noticed that many creatives in the Directory are individuals I have had the pleasure of working with at some point, highlighting the interconnected nature of our community.

Evolving Artistic Perspective

My educational journey has profoundly influenced my perspective on art. Initially a traditionalist, I have become increasingly open to contemporary art forms. This shift has allowed me to explore various mediums, including sculpture, and engage in innovative experiments and ideas.

Exhibiting

My experience with exhibitions is steadily growing. It began with end-of-year exhibits during my college years and continued through my HND, where I stewarded a public exhibit. Although I am still developing my confidence and initiative in this area, I have had the opportunity to showcase my work at events such as the Big Art Show and the Scottish Mental Health Festival.
