Grant McFarlane


I am a professional musician and arts practitioner, performing and teaching across Renfrewshire and Scotland.

I am an accordion player and graduate of the Scottish Music course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (BA Hons). My ceilidh band, Scotia, are one of the most sought after dance bands in the west of Scotland and perform regularly across Scotland. I have toured extensively in recent years including performances at Olympic Park during the height of the games in 2012 and at Festival Interceltique in Lorient in 2013. I have also performed internationally including in France, Germany, the USA and India. I have worked extensively within the education sector and creating opportunities for young people to participate in traditional music across Renfrewshire as Coordinator at Fèis Phàislig.
