A poetic and thought-provoking documentary, that invites a quiet reimagining of our place in the world through geology, art, and environment. This powerful debut feature film by Glenda Rome invites us to reimagine our connection to place, grounded in the poetry of the land itself.

Hosted at the University of the West of Scotland, this multimedia event will present a new film-based work developed during Jamie's Turning the Tide residency. Through moving image, environmental research and creative storytelling, the work explores the river's ecology, health, local wildlife, and the environmental challenges it faces.
Featuring keynote provocations, workshops, networking, sharing practical models and lived experience. The event demonstrates arts’ role in reducing isolation, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and working creatively to support healthier communities.
If you are an arts worker, artist, carer or community professional this is for you!
