I’m an actress, writer and creative producer. Three days a week I am the Performance Producer in the Renfrewshire Leisure Arts Team. I am also the Associate Producer of Civil Disobedience and founder / producer of the Persistent and Nasty initiative.
Louise trained as an actor in theatre, film and television at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and also holds a Masters Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Glasgow. Whilst living in New York, Louise worked with renowned companies such as The Wooster Group, The Tank Theatre and Theatre Resources Unlimited. Louise makes her own performance work and is a creative producer with over a decade of experience; currently she is the Performance Producer in the Renfrewshire Leisure Arts Team, the Associate Producer for live-arts production house Civil Disobedience (www.wearecivildisobedience.com), co-founder of the Persistent and Nasty project and co-Director / Producer of Scot.
